The Pepper Spray Training class exceeds the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) Chemical Agents training and certification requirements. A training completion certificate is issued after the class's successful completion, allowing a licensed security officer to carry pepper spray while on duty (with employer approval). Only inert training spray is used in the classroom - students are NOT sprayed with "live OC" spray. Four Elective hours of Continuing Training (AB 2880) are granted after successfully completing this class.
